The Utkal Scholar 2027 competition is open to all Odia Medium and Odisha Board school students:
Students from all 30 districts of Odisha (including Cuttack, Khordha, Ganjam, Balasore, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Koraput, and Puri) can participate through the official Utkal Skill Centre app.
Solve daily curriculum-aligned practice questions before 7:00 PM to maintain streaks and earn daily ranking points.
Appear in official monthly mock exams with timer constraints and AI evaluation on subjective/objective questions.
Top qualifying district and state leaderboard achievers will compete in the 2027 Grand Finale to receive the ₹1 Lakh and ₹25k scholarships.
Behind every successful scholar is an inspiring teacher. Every participating student has the privilege to nominate their favorite School Teacher or Tuition Guru. When the student wins, their mentor teacher is awarded the ₹10,000 Guru Dakshina State Honorarium along with a Certificate of Academic Excellence.
